Who on earth thought that the everyday task of cleaning one’s hand could be so very exciting? The “Tempdot” Faucet is a concept for designing faucets conceptualized by Jaeseok Han. As the name suggests, it contains dotted lights which signify various temperature levels. One can touch any of these dots to signify the temperature of the water that is required. The dots are distinguished from one another with the help of the colour coding such that dark blue represents cold water while crimson red signifies very hot water. There is a gradual colour gradients which helps in choosing the temperature of the water required. Similarly there are other buttons which are present on the faucet which control the flow of water. This design reduces the amount of metal that is to be used and the lights in the upper part of the faucet are recharged by the hot water flowing through it. This type of faucet design is simple, clean, and tidy and it is more hygienic than the other taps.
